President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Bogue serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of UCP, LLC and possesses extensive homebuilding and land development expertise. Since its inception, he has been principally responsible for developing the strategic direction for UCP’s operations. Additionally, Mr. Bogue was involved in the formation of UCP’s predecessor, Union Community Partners, LLC in 2004, its subsequent acquisition in 2008 by PICO Holdings, Inc., and in creating UCP’s wholly owned subsidiary Benchmark Communities in 2010. Prior to joining UCP, he held the position of Vice President of Development & Sales at Landcastle Real Estate, a company specializing in land brokerage and development services for Northern and Central California. For the ten years prior, Mr. Bogue served as a Director of Land Acquisitions & Development for Wellington Corporation of Northern California, a subsidiary of Triple Five National Development Company where he was responsible for managing Wellington’s California real estate portfolio, including acquisition, disposition and development. Additionally, at Wellington, Mr. Bogue was actively involved in creating two technology start-ups: Bridgewater Ventures, an early-stage venture capital company, and Cenatek, Inc., a solid-state storage device company for which Mr. Bogue served as an Executive Vice President. Mr. Bogue is also a member of UCP’s Board of Directors.
